Bwindi Gorilla Nest Adventures is an indigenous African Tour and travel company started and operated by intrepid travel enthusiasts dedicated to showcasing the natural wonders of Uganda, “The Pearl of Africa,” through meticulously planned scheduled and bespoke adventure packages. Founded with a passion for connecting travelers with Uganda’s extraordinary biodiversity and cultural heritage, we specialize in organizing comprehensive African adventure vacations and fully customized safari packages designed to deliver awesome adventures and truly unforgettable safari experiences.

Our company was born from a deep understanding of Uganda’s unique position as home to over half of the world’s remaining rare and endangered mountain gorilla population, alongside its remarkable diversity of wildlife across an extensive network of 10 national parks, wildlife reserves, and sanctuaries. We have built our reputation on intimate knowledge of Uganda’s pristine wilderness areas, from the misty snow-capped peaks of the Rwenzori’s to the lush forests of Bwindi, where visitors can encounter the magnificent mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.

Our vision centers on establishing Uganda and the broader East African region as premier destinations for world-class wildlife and cultural tourism experiences. We envision creating transformative journeys that showcase the region’s most spectacular attractions, from tracking rare animal species such as the endangered Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to observing the unique tree-climbing lions in Queen Elizabeth National Park’s Ishasha sector.

Our tours are designed to encompass the full spectrum of East Africa’s natural wonders, including encounters with endemic and rare bird species like the prehistoric-looking Shoebill stork, the Rwenzori Turaco, and over 23 Albertine Rift endemic species. We aim to provide access to breath-taking sceneries ranging from the dramatic Murchison Falls where the Nile plunges through an 8-meter gorge, to the serene waters of Lake Victoria, Africa’s second-largest freshwater body and source of the great River Nile.
